TRIBUTE TO THOSE WHO SERVED
The WWII Honor Roll was first established in 1942 after the United States entered the war in December 1941. This monument was created to memorialize Washington Township residents who served in World War II.
Originally erected in front of the 1919 Building, the monument has been relocated three times. The most recent move was proposed by the Dublin Historical Society and the Dublin Veterans Committee. The City of Dublin replaced the stone and relocated the monument to Dublin Veterans Park in spring 2021. Dublin Veterans Park provides more visibility and the park also features the Grounds of Remembrance, the Dedication Wall, Memory Walk and more, all which honor those currently serving and have served our country.
