Keynote Speaker
Major Sean E. Lovell retired from the US Air Force in 2013 after honorably serving 27+ years as an enlisted member and commissioned officer in the Security Forces career field. He deployed to Iraq in 2006-2007 in support of Iraqi Freedom and to Kuwait in 2009-2010 in support of the Global War on Terrorism. Major Lovell culminated his career as an AFROTC Instructor and Operations Officer with Detachment 645 at The Ohio State University. Major Lovell was born in Clarkson, New York, and was a 1985 Medina Senior High School graduate in Medina, NY. Major Lovell is an avid sports fan with his favorite teams: the Buffalo Bills, Chicago Cubs, and Columbus Blue Jackets. In his spare time, Major Lovell enjoys playing golf and traveling with his wife, Sheila and two daughters, Brittany and Kathryn, in their RV. Major Lovell is currently the First-Vice Officer with the American Legion Post 800 in Dublin, Ohio.

Dublin Connector
The Dublin Connector bus will operate during 2024 Veterans Day Ceremony. Dublin Residents 55 years of age or older and individuals with disabilities can call 1.833.742.7333 to schedule a ride.
- One caregiver may join the rider and must be included in the reservation.
- Pick-up/Drop-off location: Dublin Veterans Park, 77 N. High Street
- Drop-off for the event will be between 10:30am and 10:45am
- Pick-up will commence following the completion of the 2024 Veterans Day Ceremony, approximately 11:45am.
* The Dublin Connector is sponsored by the City of Dublin and operated by SHARE Mobility. To use the Dublin Connector, riders should create a SHARE Mobility account. Trips must be booked at least two hours in advance and can be booked through the SHARE Mobility app, the Dublin Connector website or by calling 833.742.7333. Accessible parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis in the parking garage located next to Dublin Veterans Park and the Dublin Library. On-street parking is also available on North High Street and Franklin St.
Accessible Seating
Accessible seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis directly in front of the podium at the Veterans Day Ceremony. Should you need additional chairs during the ceremony, please see a City of Dublin Employee for assistance.
ASL Interpreter
American Sign Language Interpreters are provided during the Veterans Day Ceremony.
Restrooms
There are no restrooms at Dublin Veterans Park. The nearest public restrooms are located inside the Dublin Library across the street from Dublin Veterans Park.
